If WWE does go ahead and move SmackDown back to Thursday nights, the live NXT specials would air on Wednesday night. No word yet on if NXT and Superstars would move to Wednesdays or Fridays.

Update On WWE SmackDown Possibly Moving Back To Thursday Nights

WWE says that they are in talks to move SmackDown back to Thursday nights but the decision has not been finalized yet.
A WWE spokesperson said:
"Someone was overzealous in updating our production trucks. The trucks are being fixed to reflect the current and accurate information of Fridays at 8 p.m."

It appears WWE SmackDown will be moving back to Thursday nights. A photo below was taken by a fan at this week's WWE tapings in Texas. The SmackDown advertisement on the side of WWE's recently re-done production truck says the show will be airing on Thursday nights on Syfy at 8pm EST.

Top WWE Superstar & WWE Money In The Bank Participant Suffers Shoulder Injury At Tonight's SmackDown Tapings
WWE's website has confirmed that Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett suffered a shoulder injury during Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings in Pittsburgh.
WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann spoke to WWE's website and said Barrett " ... sustained an injury to his right shoulder when he was thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger."
"After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop," continued Amann, "we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder. We're going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury."
No decision has been made yet regarding Barrett's participation at Money In the Bank.
